Ricardo’s journey into the creation of Freedom Social Technology began during the 2017 Harvard Business School YPO President Program. Here, inspired by his extensive experience with multinational corporations, Ricardo envisioned a platform that could harness the transformative potential of social technology to make significant impacts on political campaigns across the world. Recognizing the challenges faced by political leaders in maintaining clear and open communication with their electorates, Ricardo identified a crucial gap: the pervasive issues of disconnection and miscommunication. His insight revealed that ineffective communication was breeding instability and eroding trust in democratic institutions globally.
Initially conceptualized as a simple application to enhance interaction between political figures and their constituents, the project quickly expanded as its potential became evident.
As the platform gained traction among prestigious global democratic institutions like the Westminster Foundation for Democracy, the Jarl Hjalmarson Foundation, and the International Democrat Union, it became clear that a mere application could not address the broader challenges. Thus, Freedom Social Technology evolved into a comprehensive solution, aimed at overcoming the complex hurdles facing democracies in the digital age. Today, Freedom Social Technology is not just a tool but a beacon for democratic engagement, embodying Ricardo’s commitment to revitalizing political discourse through innovative technology and strategic communication. Formerly with the White House National Security Council and a U.S. Marine Corps intelligence officer, Claire is an expert in crisis response, diplomatic negotiations, and special operations support. She brings top-tier government access and unmatched skill in building cross-agency coalitions to achieve mission-critical outcomes in complex geopolitical environments.
KRAIG SIRACUSE
Commander, U.S. Navy Reserve
Kraig brings unmatched dual-domain expertise, shaped by over 30 years in defense policy, legislative strategy, and national service. He served as Commanding Officer for USCENTCOM’s Reserve Unit, completed combat deployments as an Intelligence Officer, and led Washington operations for Bell Textron during the successful V-280 campaign. Kraig’s insider knowledge of both Capitol Hill and combat zones allows him to craft communications strategies that bridge military missions with civilian understanding.
